Memphis tour to begin Oct 2011 in Memphis

The producers of Memphis have announced plans for a US tour of the musical to begin October 2011 in the city of Memphis. The production will spend nearly a month at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee before hitting the road. Dates and further venues are yet to be announced. Memphis the musical celebrated its 200th performance at Broadway’s Shubert Theatre this weekend.

    Awesome! Hopefully I'll get to see the show while it's on the road. There is a guy in the Broadway production that I went to high school with. Through a mutual friend we have communicated and he knows how jealous I am that he's gotten to meet Dave. I think he told him one time that he had a friend who was a really big fan of his music. He was drawing the line at saying, "I know this crazy chic from high school who's been in love with you for the past 26 years." LMAO
