Memphis Cast Recording

The Memphis Original Cast Recording is now available to buy from the Shubert Theatre in New York and online at http://www.memphisthemusical.com, with a nationwide release date to be announced.

David Bryan produced the album which was recorded at Avatar Studios on November 16, 2009.

David said "I've made a lot of albums but this one is really special to me. Memphis is about the birth of rock n roll, and to go into a studio with our amazing cast and kick-ass band is something I've been looking forward to for a long time."

The special edition CD includes a bonus track of "Memphis Lives in Me" performed by David.

Toxic Avenger to close Jan 2010

The Off-Broadway production of The Toxic Avenger Musical will close in January 2010. The final performance will take place at the New World Stages on January 3rd. A North American tour is being planned for the show to begin in the Fall. Fans can suggest their home town to be included in the tour by filling in a form at http://toxiefans.com/

Memphis opening night

The Broadway opening of Memphis took place on Monday night. David attended the event with his family. His bandmates Richie Sambora, Tico Torres and Hugh MacDonald were there to show their support.
